hi .... i bought a ticket this weekend with my miles and flew BWI to DTW and then suppose to be FNT .... after waiting for hours and hours for our plane it showed up and we were told we were waiting on a crew .... 1/2 an hour later they canceled the whole flight and when i called Delta they said they could rebook me on monday afternoon ...... i didn't want to sit 3 days in an airport so i caught a cab ...... i asked Delta to return some of my miles on the FNT flight since it never went ..... they said no .... 1 segment constituted the flight and it's not broken down into x for this segment and x for that one ..... pack sand ..... i was shocked .... i wrote customer service .... is this normal that a ticket bought with miles and a segment is canceled i lose all miles ....... and not that it matters here but i bought insurance and their the ones who told me to get Delta to refund some miles and they'd help me with the rest since 75% of my trip was canceled and i had to make other arrangements ....if Delta doesn't give me my miles back i think i am going Airtran ....... this just seems unfair to me ..... they take my miles plus i pay my own way from DTW to FNT ..... seems wrong .... is it ??.......... or am i wrong ...............
