My 80 year old mother-in-law was traveling yesterday on United Flight 472 from ORD to MSP. She's boarding with the first class group since she has wheelchair assist. A woman standing a few passengers back tapped the pusher on the shoulder and told him to seat her in 1A. Then, she asked my MIL for her boarding pass, said "Merry Christmas" and proceeded back to her new seat in row 27. Yes, it's a short flight but it's the first time my MIL had ever ridden up front and was so thrilled when she got off the plane! She's already called all her friends and the rest of the family.
I posted a thanks to her mystery benefactor on the United board; now it's up to me to pay it forward on a future Delta flight!
