uestion regarding getting to gold medallion status after a friend gifted me silver

Hi--I have a question regarding getting to gold medallion status after a friend gifted me silver medallion status thru Feb 2014

A friend gifted me silver medallion as a xmas gift that is good thru Feb 2014
Before she gifted me the silver I had about 11,000 MQM in my account -
Since i am silver status now if i get 14,000 more MQM to give me 25,000 MQM on top of the gifted silver status does that move me up to Gold? or ?
