This has happened for third time in a row out of ATL. The gate agent called all zones through the sky priority lane. I got there after Zone 1 was called, and had to wait behind all the FOs/kettles before boarding. Since it was a full flight, i had to check my bag.
Is it unreasonable to be angry that the Gate Agent didn't use the general boarding lane for zone 1+ and the sky priority lane for SP passengers? If he had, I could have skipped all the FOs/Kettles and probably would have been able to get my bag in the overhead.
It's not a big deal 1 time, but when it's constantly happening it makes me angry. I just don't understand why Delta can't get their gate agents to follow the correct procedure.
