Hey All,
I wasn't sure what to do so I figured I would ask. I wanted to start off by saying I usually think the crew's on the Delta International flights are amazing and the Purser is always friendly and helpful. In fact, I have never written a complaint letter.
However, on my flight today from AMS to DTW the purser was rude, uncaring, and really did a very poor job of service on the flight. I don't need them to give me the world but a you are welcome after I say thank you or something would be nice once on a 9 hour flight.
A couple other examples, I was having trouble with my screen not staying put I asked if there was a way to tighten it up, I got no answer but was told I could move seats. Oddly, I was told I could only move to one specific seat even though the flight in the second BE cabin only had 4 people in it. In any event, the passenger next to me showed me how to cram some paper towels and plastic in the hinge so I could watch the movie. The purser never even acknowledged this. I also had problems with my tray table not coming out of the arm rest when he was ready for me to eat my meal and he seemed exasperated that he had to help get the tray table out.
I also was only offered a refill of a drink once on a 9 hour flight in BE because I was in the pursers section. I could see other FA's being very jovial and refilling drinks etc.
Is this even worth complaining about? I actually don't want/care for compensation but my preference would be for Delta to know when some of their employees are not up to par.
Thoughts?
