41 minute connection time at DTW?

Flying BOS to SLC for a ski trip this Sunday. (BOS-DTW on DL 2123 connecting to DTW-SLC on DL 2335). Flight times were changed, leaving us with only a 41-minute connection time at DTW. Will we make it? And if so, will our luggage make it? We are checking skis and ski clothing, so it'd be a bummer if our luggage doesn't make it.
