When I was on exchange in the US, I was flying out of a US airport almost every weekend. Being a small airport, there was this one DL GA who seemed to handle every flight I was on. We really started to chat, and she would do HUGE favours for me (ex. VDB me on a CONNECTING flight later that day, slip me lounge day passes/HOOUs, give me the best seat on the plane, etc). I could often be seen chatting with her, surrounded by a group of FAs for that flight.
My question here is: have any of you developed a friendly relationship with a DL staff member which resulted in positive flying experiences/perks (outside the joy of meeting somebody)?
