Baggage to LIH Question

I could not find my answer on any other thread so here we go.

I am headed to Lihue this week. I am flying PDX to LAX (AS) on Thursday night. My departing flight to HNL (DL) is on Friday. I am spending Thursday night in a hotel at LAX.

I continue onto LIH on Hawaiian airlines on a separate one way ticket.

My questions:

Will Alaska let me claim my bag at LAX on Thursday night? I am trying to avoid bringing a carry-on.

Will Alaska at check-in or Hawaiian allow for an interline transfer at HNL? if I am not able to claim my bag at LAX on Thursday.

Also how do I receive my SM on my DL account for the Hawaiian flight. I know it is not MQM but looks like I should receive regular old pesos.
