"To clarify, the Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) will start
accumulating for purchases made on or after January 1, 2014. Therefore,
if you purchase tickets within 2013, the purchases will not qualify for
2014 MQDs. Regardless if the flights are booked to travel in 2014, the
purchase will not be counted if it is not purchased within 2014. Please
be sure to purchase the tickets in 2014 in order to qualify for the
required MQDs for 2015 Medallion status."
