No surprises here: airlines have no concern for customers and human rights.
Their premise is the sequester, but they're not asking for a relaxation of the rules specific sequester-related issues -- they're asking for TOTAL, unrestricted freedom to trap you for whatever time they want for whatever reason they want. And they want to do so for a minimum of 90 days even if the sequester is solved tomorrow. But if the sequester takes longer, they want a longer time.
