Syracuse is giving a major airline incentives worth $500,000 to begin flying Central New Yorkers to Minneapolis a city thats even colder than Syracuse in the winter.
Delta Air Lines will receive $450,000 in waived landing and terminal fees and $50,000 worth of advertising for the non-stop daily flight it will begin Sept. 6 from Syracuse Hancock International Airport to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
