Soooo, my knucklehead cousin finally secured the venue he wanted for his wedding outside of Bialystok, Poland at the end of August. This unfortunately gives me very little time to gamble on fares to WAW and I was curious what you all thought.
The reason I even ask is because Mrs. Photojojo and I are finally taking our honeymoon the following week in AUA, and we noticed schizophrenic fares for the past few months heading that direction while WAW has been the same but only fluctuating $10-$50 at a time versus the several hundred to AUA.
As it stands now, CVG-XXX-WAW fares are a very consistent $1265 across the board but I've never purchased (what I consider) a last minute fare to Eastern Europe, and the fares haven't been such a roller coaster as AUA.
So... If you were in my sandals, would you just say "Screw it buy it now to secure a seat" or roll the dice and wait until the last minute? FWIW, we're currently at $1261 on a V fare that either goes through CDG or ORD-AMS. Nothing is ideal I know, but I've got to pull the trigger soon.
