I am flying Delta from JFK to ZUR on a regular basis and am frustrated to see that there is no way to know if a flight will have new seating or not. This is important because if the upgraded seating is not available, then I do not want to waste my money paying $6500 for business class. On the other hand, if the new seating is available, I will pay. I think this is a scam by Delta, they know which flights will have the new seating but will not give (or allow) their reservations people the line of sight to tell passengers what to expect. They do this because they know that many of us would not pay high fees for the poor seating. This is classic bait and switch and should be investigated by the Attorneys General Office of NY. I am going to ask for an investigation.
