DL no longer thanks BE passengers or uses names?

I just returned from a TATL RT in BE and I was not at all positively impressed by the service. Has anyone else noticed this recently? Is TATL much worse than TPAC, which IMO has generally been excellent?

Eastbound the purser did an extremely cursory and robotic rushed greeting at every row at the beginning of the flight and the same sort of thanks at the end. It seemed so insincere as to be counterproductive. The meal service involved lots of rushing back and forth, but this was a 767-400 with a long aisle and the rushing was perhaps understandable if they were trying to meet some DL deadline. However, there was no attempt at personal interaction whatsoever.

Westbound the closest sort of thank you was the preflight welcome announcement broadcast to the entire aircraft where the purser read a sentence thanking all Medallions. There was absolutely nothing said at the end
of the flight and no obvious reason, such as landing faster than anticipated or anything unusual such as an onboard emergency, for the omission. In her defense, I should say that the purser made a lot of water rounds during the flight. Otherwise the service varied from lackadaisical to passive/aggressive insolent with only two of ten FAs having a professional appearance. I can't recall a flight where I experienced worse service.

Perhaps this was due to the BE cabin being more than half OPUPs, with perhaps a few nonrevs thrown on. BE was less than half full up to a couple hours before the flight, but coach was badly oversold. Every seat was occupied on the flight. This shouldn't mean that the cabin crew don't have to bother, especially for passengers who aren't OPUPs or nonrevs.
