My overall experience with DL employees has been very positive, but this past week flying RDU-BOS, I walked into the SP check in area since I had to drop off bags on the way from school. I walk up to the desk, and the first thing I'm told is "excuse me, the check in counters are over there" (pointing to the regular coach counters). I mention I'm a GM and that I should be able to use the SP lane. The agent grumbles a bit and proceeds to check me in, then asks me to put my bags on the scale. When I get to the third bag; she says, no you have to pay for that. I then have to mention that my upgrade cleared and F should be getting me three bags.
The only reason I can see this might have happened is I'm still 20 and look more like 18 or 19. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
