DTW->CDG upgrade possibility?

Hi guys,
My wife and I are flying from DTW to CDG next week to celebrate our anniversary. I'm a Platinum Medallion and gifted my wife Silver Medallion earlier this year. I purchased my roundtrip economy ticket (X fare class) and used miles to purchase my wife's economy ticket. I checked the flight and there is lots of availability in Business Elite. Is there any chance of us getting upgraded? If not any tips for trying to play either the Platinum Elite and or Anniversary card to score an upgrade? I'll take any tips anyone has.
