I was on a DL flight recently where the seat in front of me seemed to be broken. The left side of the seat was reclined back much further than the right side. I'm fairly certain it was broken and not just partly reclined. The tray table also went down at an angle so it was impossible to put anything like an ipad or a drink on it.
I didn't mention anything to the FAs or report it to delta but I wasn't sure if it is something I should have or could have done. I didn't really want it to become a big issue and ground the plane (hopefully that wouldn't happen) and I don't want any miles or anything but is this something worth reporting online or do they check these things fairly often? Not sure if it was a safety issue or not.
