I have two roundtrip itineraries on hold ORD-BCN and BOS-BCN using Skymiles at the lowest level (60,000 roundtrip each). I'm attempting to take the ORD-BCN outbound from 1 itinerary and BOS-BCN return from 1 itinerary and make that 1 roundtrip.
To avoid the phone fee, I selected multi city and did ORD-BCN and then BOS to BCN. I was able to select the same outbound flight I had on hold from my ORD-BCN itinerary as my new correct outbound. When I was prompted to selected my return flight for BCN-BOS the return I had on the BOS-BCN roundtrip itinerary wasn't displayed. Therefore, on another computer I loaded up Delta and loaded a dummy BOS-BCN roundtrip and they showed the return flight I couldn't find when searching multi-city (I wanted to confirm I hadn't reserved the last seat).
I called up the medallion desk and gave them both Confirmation # and they weren't much help. They had the same issue I had. She couldn't see the BOS-BCN return flight even though she confirmed it exist because I have it on hold on that separate itinerary. Any suggestions?
