Getting to / from Chennai on Delta and Sky Team

Does anyone have or know of any ways of getting out of Chennai, India to head back to the USA?

I believe I will be going USA-AMS-BOM and then flying Mumbai to Chennai on Air India when I meet up with co-workers. However, I will be departing from Chennai to head back to the USA. Delta doesn't fly to Chennai, but are there other ways to build an itinerary to make this work?
