Check your MQM Posts

Hey, this has been happening a lot lately to me where I will have a lower class fare ticket issued (client purchases then) then I will go in and pay for the First Class Fare, fly the flight and the MQM Bonus will not post as the original ticket was only a Coach fare without the bonus.

The automated response from Delta via email when you go and complain is:

balance. Members will earn a 50% mileage bonus with a paid first or
business class ticket. Because passengers have various upgrade
opportunities, class of service bonuses are awarded based on the fare
purchased, rather than the cabin a passenger travels in. Since your
ticket was upgraded, it is not eligible for additional bonus mileage.

They fail to look further into the ticket and see that you DID pay for the First/YBM fare. Its a battle but Delta.bomb isn't helping out and you could be loosing valuable MQM (Well for this year at least till MQD are there)
